Common questions
How do I restore Bower Pro on a new device?
Open Settings inside the game and tap Restore Purchase. As long as you are signed in to the same Apple Account that bought it, the themes unlock again. Bower Pro is also Family Sharing enabled, so if someone in your Family group bought it, Restore Purchase will find it for you too.
Is Bower Pro a subscription?
No. It is a single one-time purchase that unlocks the Midnight, Kitchen and Court Press themes. There is nothing to renew and nothing to cancel. Every rule option, the guide, pass-and-play and stats are free.
How do two or more people play on one phone?
Open Settings and tap any seat to switch it from Computer to Human. When it becomes that player’s turn, the game covers the table and prompts you to hand the phone over, so nobody sees anyone else’s cards.
What is the left bower again?
The Jack of the same colour as trump. It counts as a trump card and is the second-highest card in the hand, behind the Jack of trump itself. Tap Guide on the home screen for a walkthrough hand, or How to Play for the full reference.
Can I change the rules?
Yes — Settings has Stick the Dealer, first to 10 or 11, Partner’s Best, Farmer’s Hand Redeal and Auto Mode, so you can set the game up the way your table plays it.
Does Bower work without internet?
Yes. The whole game runs on your device. An internet connection is only needed to make or restore a purchase.
My achievements are not showing in Game Center.
Achievements report to Game Center only when you are signed in. Check Settings → Game Center on your device. Your in-game stats and achievements are tracked either way.
